Upload not signed return tax

Hi everyone,

I completed my ds260 application and uploaded all the required documents in June. But recently I noticed that the 2021 tax return I uploaded is not signed .. I’m wondering if I should sign and upload it again or just leave it.
Moreover, I filed my tax by paper and it is still not processed yet by irs. Is that a problem or should I upload the 2020 tax return.

Go ahead and attached a copy of the signed tax return for 2021, and as @JeanneAdilstated, DON"T FORGET TO ATTACH THE W2.

Ok thank you guys..what about the 2021 tax return that’s still not processed by IRS because paper processing is taking very long this year. I hope that’s not a problem

You can use the tax return form 1040 or 1040EZ that you sent to the IRS WITH ALL THE W2s and schedules (if any), and of course, don't forget to sign the form

Thank you..Please do you know if they will reset the clock if I upload my 1040 form

No one can tell for sure, but a lot of members have stated they added documents and it did not reset the clock for them

As someone who's joint paper return just changed to being processed,  it is not available online yet for downloading the Tax Return statement.

Tax return statement is not what is needed.  The name of the document is Tax Return Transcript.

Further, if one submits a complete copy of a the tax return with all schedules, 1099s and W2s it is not critical to sign it.  They've signed the I-864 under penalty of perjury already.  Is it better to submit a signed copy?  Sure.  Is it required?  No.
