I smoke. I grew up in a house with my parents smoking- back when I was at home we smoked inside.

Here at Mel's- I smoke outside. The weather is nice and I don't freeze in the winter. It is nice to be in a house that doesn't reek like smoke. I sneak one every now and then in the computer room but I have no problem going outside.

i never smoked in my life. my entire family used to smoke though. as a kid i used to see my mom chatting on the telephone with a cig in her hand, laugh, cough, laugh, cough. it grossed me out so much i never wanted to try it. then she finally quit. and my brothers quit. now its time for daddy to quit too! doubt it will ever happen though...he's a chain smoker!

Moh smokes inside our apt. We're on the top floor so it would be really inconvenient for him to have to go outside all the time. He does go outside if we're visiting friends and family who are non smokers. I used to smoke but quit right after Moh arrived. He attempted to quit several times but nah he's way addicted. Plus, being a K3 and having to wait on an EAD makes for lots of boredom. It's hard to quit smoking when you're bored. I never smoked around my children but their father does. My kids don't care whether Moh smokes or not. Moh opens a window and smokes next to it. If my sons are with us he goes to another room to smoke.

Khallid goes outside to smoke. I thought for sure he'd stop when it was below zero last winter. Nope....it didn't work.

My dad used to smoke like a chimney - that's what made me hate smoking. thankfully, he quit last year, after almost 30 years of smoking. Neither myself nor my hubby smoke, we both find it quite disgusting.

I'm a former smoker (quit 11 years ago next month), and my husband is also a former smoker. He smoked his last cigarette the day he left to live in America. It's a lot easier to not smoke here in Boston, since smoking is banned from all restaurants and bars, which is where he most liked to smoke.

He's had a few cravings, but hasn't smoked one cigarette since May 2. He would never have smoked in our apartment though, out of respect for me.

Wish my husband would give up. He smokes an insane amount of cigarettes, it scares me. :(
