Questions with Iraq Fiancé Going to Turkey for Interview

So my fiancés case finally reached Turkey today, he completed the ds-160 form. I just need to finish the I-134 forms. I have a few questions.

my fiancé does not have a birth certificate as they do not receive any, will his jensia be sufficient?

does he need to do his medical exam in Turkey or Iraq? He also has no vaccination documentation so will the appointment cover that or should he get that on his own in Iraq?

since there are no mailing services where he lives how will he receive his visa? And if he receives it there in Turkey how long would that take?

is it safe to go to Turkey 10 days prior to the interview and get his exam then? How early should he do that?

also, should I have already received an email for the interview? How does that work?

my fiancé has only cash as he is self employed, how might I prove this in the I-134?

what should He bring to the interview other than the general checklist USCIS provides?

my last question, is it okay if we have our wedding in Iraq before we legally marry in Arizona? All of our family is there and there’s no point in doing it in the US. So I’m hoping it’s alright

im sorry this is so many questions I’m just very confused at the moment and do not want to mess up! Thank you so much in advance.

You waited a bit to long to address the lack of birth certificate, but if he is Iraqi then go through this Visa Reciprocity link and make sure he has or gets what is acceptable in lieu of missing birth certificate

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Iraq.html

Medical exam will be in Turkey so immediately contact them to see when appointments are available  AND save yourself a ton of $$$ by having him vaccinate now in IRAQ if he has no records.

You should already have selected a Courier destination address in Ankara , it’s the only location visa will be delivered. The wait after the interview can vary from days to weeks to bloody months ( depending on how fast they clear him for security check)

So prepare for him to remain at least a couple of weeks in Ankara after interview and return at a later date if delayed.

create a case at us travel docs https://www.ustraveldocs.com/

otherwise nothing will happen , you need to contact the embassy and keep in touch w them throughout

Ask medical office if they accept cash , am sure they prefer it.

DO NOT marry as you will jeopardize the K-1. Even a ceremonial/ religious wedding disqualifies .

He needs to take a solid collection of relationship evidence, copy of you already filed w USCIS and everything new since then.

The I -134 answers should match those he may need to give if asked at interview,  ( type of work ) but they will not look at his foreign income as a qualifier , just yours . If he has huge cash assets , they would need to be deposited in a bank account to be counted.

Luckily I haven’t made an interview yet so I will make sure to get all those documents ready to go. Thanks for making me aware of the little celebration part I was not aware of that and will make sure we do nothing of the sort. On the I-134 it does ask for his assets and proof of it so I’ll have him deposit his money in a bank. Thank you so much for clarifying everything!
