Been here a couple of years now and I have to get photos to renew my british passport. US passport photos are 2" by 2" and UK are 45mm by 35mm. They say please do not trim them. If anyone has any ideas at all I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks,

Angus

The OP is in the US, not the UK, and has already completed AOS. If you'd posted a list the other-way-round (places in US that do UK style photos), it would make sense.
When I renewed my UK passport I sent US size photos..... never had any problems....

So, my idea of 'brasening it with 2x2" US-style photos' is actually tried-and-true.

Apologies for the non-helpful information. I clearly wasn't paying much attention.

Hi Angus,

Never have bumped into you yet here in Louisville. You should try the pub quiz at Molly Malones on a Tuesday at 9pm. We are the team known as Fee Fi Fo Fum.

Anyway, just to let you know that I renewed my passport earlier this year without any problems using standard US passport photos. I actually went to Sears to get them done in the vain hope that they would be better than Walgreens. Unfortunately I was mistaken and I am now saddled with a horrible mugshot for the next ten years!

I got the passport back really quickly too.

 If my work permit gets the go ahead it's gonna have a REALLY ugly pic thanks to walgreens. I think I was sick at the time which didn't help..when they handed it over and asked if it was ok I just sighed and resigned myself to photographic doom :P
