You’ll get your interview date about a month ahead of time if that helps.

My status on USCIS says in January scheduled for interview but there is no mails from them...now its almost august wondering if the interview was going to take place as I read in some forums and sites that the interviews may be not done for some cases(if they know the marriage is legit).

True.  We have an age difference and knew we would be interviewed.  It sat as ready to be scheduled forever-though it was during lockdowns too.  I hope you get lucky but if you take a 2-week trip, you won’t get caught with a sudden interview.

Aren't thry suppose to mail me the interview letter? Like they did for the biometrics? No calls,no emails nothing in the mail. And the way they phrased the sentence  (as in January 2022...your case is ready for an interview,we will inform you)...that was it. I wish they will be more specific as its so vague. So i am now sitting on a fence don't know anything🤔

Well, on your previous post you said “January scheduled for an interview” and now you say “ready to be scheduled for an interview”, so it’s not clear what’s your latest update.

Also, please fill your timeline to get accurate responses.

Yeah unfortunately the "ready to be scheduled" status can stick around for a long time. They really shouldn't even bother with that update unless an interview is actually going to be scheduled soon.
