Sad to see Montreal still handing out AP and DS-5535 willy nilly. Not much to update here at all, as I am O.G. in this thread and nothing much has changed. Over 11 months since my interview and DS-5535, and now a total of 3 years and 3 months and counting in the immigration process. They have ignored my last couple of emails, as per usual. I guess there really is no choice but WOM, and that makes me very angry.

who do you plan to go with for WOM?

i have a call with Goldstein for first call

I had a call with Goldstein set up, but they made me angry. They never told me my wife had to be in on the free consultation call, and simply refused to talk to me. After that, I decided I will go with Hacking because they did talk to me and they have a payment plan.

Yep. I mean they seem to have a good reputation in this forum, and payment terms are better. So I am convinced they may be a good choice.

Oh man, I’m sorry to hear that @ice-qube I’ve wished for a better outcome for you and especially in previous discussions on how ludicrous it is to spend more money for lawyers to force agents to do the job they were supposed to do. Being  an OG on here right too, I’m experiencing no movement even after asking questions. I wish you the best with Hawking, keep us posted!

so when i did the call with them, they insisted that my mom be on the call, i told them she doesnt speak good english but they still insisted. so when the call came, i had her dial in from Canada....and they didnt even ask her any questions nor did they care she was on the phone. 😑

Well I have to find the money first. That is my step one. I applied for a line of credit, hopefully will get. I am disgusted that I have to do this.

Simply ridiculous. I found it very rude that they wouldn't do a consult with me (my wife was working at the time, and they never said she had to be on when I spoke with intake). And besides all that I could definitely have elucidated every aspect of the case myself, especially in what was just essentially first consult. It was angering, so I decided I would not use them. They are not the only law firm around doing this work.

Hey folks, for those that have cleared recently, is MTL still only sending out stamped passports on Fridays?
