Hello guys, I am wondering how long it takes to get visa issued after submitting your passport ? Please share your experiences. Thanks

Hi Fayisa,

Please refer to the groups tracking spreadsheet. There are a few added on there that have been completed and you can see the timelines. Maximum seems to be less than two months from sending passport to receiving it back in hand. Others are quicker.

Please add your dates to the tracker to help others in the future! :)

Hello guys, just note , recently  a judge dismissed a case that had been pending in admin processing for 16 months, judge said not unreasonable, this was Aug 1.

Be careful wasting money on WOM, they won't approve them anymore.

I know plenty of people with successful WOM recently. Choose a good lawyer is my advice.

Our case status just changed from Refused to Issue today. Thanks all for the help!. Our interview time was July 17th, and got refused under 221(g) with returned passport. We sent in multiple emails and on August 23rd Consular requested our passport. Finally today, Sept 14th,  status changed from Refused to Issued.

Hi @Maple Yang did you have a D5535 or were you just missing a document?

Wondering if anyone has experience with this... I had gotten DS-5535, my case status on CEAC is still refused. My case number on CEAC has always been in BOLD RED. About a week ago was my last unsolicited case update. The same day as that last update, my case number changed from red to BLACK. The font is no longer bold, now matching the color and font of the case created and last updated dates.

Curious if this has happened to anyone else and if it could indicate progess?

CEAC had major system updates recently.

I've been lurking here since this exact thing happened to us, Jan 11th interview. Exactly as you described it. I think some of them surely have to be random selection. We have two little kids and expecting a third. It's a nightmare. Hope you are one of the lucky ones and it's over sooner rather than later!

Have you heard back on your 221g ?
