@LYV here is the spreadsheet for all of us who were processed via WOM in 2022 if you haven't seen it yet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oh7cj_1HiWa-JH82xOeRtYb6gJWjU3KcF7ALuyQmV4w/edit#gid=0

Thanks everyone who has so far filled out the spreadsheet. It would be great if we could also get some people who have already been all the way through the process (if they are still following) to add in their info as well. This will grow to be a great resource for us and those in the future who come into the group!

Hello,

I have created a spreadsheet for us all to use to track our progress. Another group used this type of sheet to track when their meetings would be scheduled from DQ date and it was really helpful to see approximate processing times. Please see attached online Excel Sheet. Let me know if you have any questions or think I missed anything that should be added. I've went ahead and added my information on the first line. Thanks!

I believe all DS-5535 goes to through same waitlist at DOS, regardless of Embassy/Consulate. So in my opinion, I think it would be more valuable to open this up to all other countries besides Montreal.

I have been trying to make another forum for U.S. Citizens going through the DS-5535 process with their family members in the Middle East but am uncertain how to go about doing that. This forum here has alot of notoriety and Im not sure if I created such a forum if it would reach the same lengths or if people would care.

How are people who submitted their DS5355 in Feb/Mar 2023 doing right now?

I don't have any word yet (a few updates but I'm thinking it was someone opening my file when I emailed asking about progress). Curious to see if anyone has been given any kind of notices without having filed a WOM. Stay strong!

In the same boat since March. We did file a WOM in June so were still waiting on movement with that.

This suit was dismissed because the claim became moot - the plaintiff’s visa was adjudicated.

The other plaintiff in the suit can’t compel interview - it’s a different claim from the government’s duty to adjudicate an application, and extremely difficult to win on as there are too many factors involved.

Thanks for clearing that up. Seems like some people in the 2022 WOM group recieved motions to dismiss but ended up having their visa's adjudicated in the end, don't see much info on here regarding those cases unfortunately.

Congratulations @Tikitch!  I had to send in the email requesting my passport, the courier slip and updated passport photos (they are only valid 6 months from date taken) and as an added measure I sent in an updated police background certificate as others were asked for that.  I wasn't, but didn't want to give them any excuse to turn around and have to ask for additional things delaying the process even further.

Hey! How long did it take to issue the visa after they received the medical and your passport?

It was ~ 4 weeks from their receipt of my passport and medical until it showed issued, and then it took 2 business days for me to receive my passport back.
