I’m not sure what you mean by internal courier.  The instructions included a courier In Authorization certificate for purolator or bls.  I brought it to purolator and they had no idea what to do with it.  So I brought it to FedEx and used the mailing address provided  since they have overnight delivery and included the barcode page with my name and case number, as instructed, in my courier envelope. Anybody else know how long it takes to get to the consular officer?

I'm sorry, I misunderstood you.  You did use the consulate courier service.  In my experience, and I have only sent something this way once, it arrived the next day but took a week for the consulate to acknowledge it, but it was not a passport and I am not close to finishing the process, so you might see action sooner.  Good luck!

Thanks.  Anybody else asked to send passport via courier? @CanNursetoUS @ohmygod What should I expect? How long does it take to get to consular officer from the offsite mailing facility?   I did not use canada post since FedEx was faster.  My medical is expiring in two weeks so naturally I am nervous as it’s been a long stressful process.  Congratulations to those who got issued and best of luck to those still waiting.

I do not know how long it will take for them to acknowledge it, however I do have a few questions if you’re willing to share!? I can’t see your timeline on your profile…

when did you interview? I assume 6 months ago since your medical is expiring? Did you receive a 5535 and did you file a WOM?

Hacking

Nimer - best reputation I’ve seen but still 7-8k

Goldstein

Jesse Bless

Curtis Morrison

Raju Mahajan - seems to be cheapest around 3.5k, make sure he files in DC not Maryland (he has license for both but some maryland cases are starting to get transferred to DC in the 5535 telegram)

Just wanted to let you guys know there’s a lot of movement on filed WOM cases. They settled 8 cases in August. Usually they settle 1-2 per month.

They seem to be devoting more resources to old cases so now is the time if you’re looking to file. Don’t love Goldstein.

We are going to send the documents requested ( medical & police clearance) by Canada Post as per their instructions.

I did, with Goldstein, it worked but as I have said before in this thread, the communication was poor at best. So my advice is that it works but don’t expect too much outside of blasted mass emails and vague answers. 100% I believe the only reason we have the visa is the WOM, I don’t think it’s a waste of money, but I think it’s absolutely wrong that it’s the only way to move forward anymore.
