Hello, can anyone help with information.
I am a US citizen filing to bring both of my parents to the US.  After applying they requested DNA and addition evidence. I did the dna and my question is about the additional evidence. Do I send original documents or copies of the documents?
thank you for your help

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

By mail to uscis? Not if you need them back. The RFE should have details - affidavits can be sent sure because they wouldn’t be used for something else, but if it’s an original OP will need again then they should send certified /notarized copies.

Being DNA evidence, I thought the original is what will only be accepted. I don't know if they'd want a copy.

Maybe OP pays for 2 copies while picking the original and saves one.

Poster was asking about the other evidence. DNA result gets sent direct from the lab to uscis/dos.

Thanks for the replies. The document didn’t specify.

The fact that they mention a “copy of the foreign language document” must accompany a foreign language translation seems to indicate that copies are fine. I’d err on the safe side and get them notarized /certified though.
