To those whose expedite requests were denied

Did you submit another request?

How soon did you submit after you previous one/s was/were denied?

Did you change your reason or you kept it consistent with the previous ones?

How many times have you submitted the request?

Thanks to everyone who will answer.

It’s not a matter of “submit expedite requests until one takes.”

I know.

I’m just trying to check if I can resubmit my previously denied request. We have been DQed since August 2020 and they’re only interviewing those with expedite requests at the Embassy in Manila.

If your situation is still the same, you will probably get denied again. Of course you can try?

Also, changing the reason? Unless you have multiple reasons that all would qualify for an expedite, there is no valid point to changing the reason.

Thing is, I have read that some just request for an expedite without giving any specific reason other than they have been waiting for so long, and they were approved. When I requested for an expedite, I gave a medical reason, and I was denied.

On a side note, this immigration thing is really confusing and tiring. :(

One of my brother's children is turning 21yrs old at the end of the year.. we requested last February 2022 but got denied and requested again about 2 weeks ago and got accepted for expedite processing. Reason was still the same.. PD is Oct 2010 and DQ is Mar 2021.

That sounds good, and congratulations!

What embassy is this?

Thank you for your response.

Awesome! You gave me hope to request again. LOL!

BTW, did they email the expedite request or they sent it via the Manila Embassy website?

They sent everything through email. and the last time we checked my brother's status it says the papers are in Manila and it's READY.. not sure what ready means but I hope ready to be scheduled for interview soon!

Wow! So cool! So happy for your brother!

I think you are correct about the status part. I think it's ready to be scheduled!

Thank you for answering my questions!
