Prior Utility Bills

Hi All,

 

I have a quick question about including our utility bills with our application. I stupidly threw a lot of statements away each month so I don’t have them kept in a neat order (eg. quarterly). They all have both of our names on them. Would it suffice to call our providers and have them send historical statements? I suppose I could find a way to print them online but I feel like having them accompanied with the envelope would be stronger evidence.

You’re way overthinking it. 
Log in to your online account for each billing company, print past statements, include them in your ROC package.

Personally, I would only include the first statement that showed both of your names and the current statement that shows both names.  Printing out everything else is just a waste of paper in my opinion.

Uscis doesn't want to see such statements in the envelope. Printing bills online vs hardcopies  from mail is same thing for uscis.

Please remember - USCIS opens your packet and immediately scans everything in.  Anything that is not single-sided, letter-sized paper is at risk of not scanning properly.  Some utility bills are not "letter" size - so printing everything (even pictures) on letter-sized paper is the way to go!!!

I see little difference.  Just print and include copies. Don't make their job more difficult.

i had to commingle assets to get my spouse visa approved and all i sent was the page the utility company printed out to show when i added him
