Can you schedule a medical too soon?

Hi folks,

I've been DQ'ed but my case is still at NVC and there seems to be a delay on London interviews which are normally 6 weeks after DQ.

I'm slightly concerned with the delay that there will be a mad rush to book medical in London and this could delay my move, so I am trying to be proactive and book it now. But is it possible to book the medical *too soon*?

For example, if I book a medical at the start of August would that be valid for an interview in September, or even October?

1.  Some medical authorities require an interview letter before they will schedule a medical exam.

2.  Your visa expiration date will be limited by the date of the medical exam as explained above by other members.

Visa Medicals in London requires that you bring your appointment letter to the medical appointment. Pick an appointment date for a time when you think you will have the interview letter. Or remember to  cancel the medical date and reschedule. From the clinic’s website:

You will be charged £95 if you cancel your appointment within 3 working days of the appointment date
