Lucozade for when i have a hangover....and quorn sauages...any veggies out there pleaseeee tell me where i can get a decent veggi sauage.

I saw some Quorn products in our local Kroger supermarket the other day. Didn't see sausages...but the Quorn thing IS a good start..

I'm not there yet, but I KNOW I am going to miss:

Angel delight

Cornish Pasties

PROPER Cadbury's caramel chocolate

Ambrosia rice pudding

Birds Custard

Warburtons bread

McVities biscuits

Golden syrup

Pick 'n' mix sweets in woolworths!

Richmond sausages

Crunchy nut cornflakes (I have seen some in the states... But they are so not the same...)

I think I am going to have to have care packages sent, :lol

Mmmnn, all of the above.

Add: Fresh bread and this list is good!

Wow, I miss everything.

First of all I really miss fresh homemade natural food which is still abundant in Russia.

I miss my kefir and other kinds of milk products (even if you find them in a Russian grocery they are just not the same)

Fresh baked bread

Fresh tasting milk

All kinds of fish and meat delicacies

Russian cakes, pastries and pirogies (none of this ugly sugary bright colored staff they sell here)

Fresh and cheap seafood

In general I miss how food is presented. I opt for smaller portions and better presentation.

I miss having a fruit salad after a meal, I could never find one in the restaurant menu! Why?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
