I hear you - those corn dogs are lethal... I gained about as much in Nepal - too much time sitting at my inlaws' eating yummy food and not enough time trekking... Have you tried Boca? I dont remember if they make sausage but their burgers are really good. :)

*sigh* I just left Nepal a couple of weeks ago and am already missing Nepali food...

'C'(chili) momos, especially with yak cheese, chili chips, yak cheese pizza, my MIL's dal bhat, gundruk, cucumber aachar.

Fresh uku(sugar cane) juice, sweet bananas(unlike the ones here that have no taste), and oh the mangoes...There is nothing like Nepali/Indian mangoes - and I come from Hawaii so I know my mangoes :D

Real curd, especially from Bhaktapur - I used to eat it every day...

Masala chiyaa and fresh Nepali donuts or sel every morning...

the fresh Mithai from the shop near Pashupatinath...

Sikarni...

welcome to vj and off topics...and welcome to america....my best to you..dean

Thanks Dean, but I am the USC... :)

:blush::blush::blush: ..i am such a chopf##K....

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I haven't left Canada yet, but I do know what I miss that's in the USA...

CHIPOTLE!!!

We don't have that in Vancouver and it's something I can eat every week. I love their Vegie Burrito Bol.

Just thinking about it makes me drool. So glad I'll be able to eat it as often as I'd like once I move to Cali!

I'm pretty lucky here... the local supermarket chain has a British food section. It's tiny, but I can get some of those things. The rice pudding, the custard, Chocolate Hob Nobs, Cadbury's chocolate (I've got my wife hooked on Crunchies although she'd prefer a Lion Bar)

Real love stories never have endings...
