For 1040 or w2 ???

I have appointment for my daughter in us embassy next week , they need proof of residency so i have letter from my employer and social security record , i didnt find my w2 but i have form 1040 tax return is that going to be ok or i have to bring them my w2 ?

If providing a copy of your 1040 Return, it should include all W2’s and 1099’s.

I dont have my w2 i found 1040 from turbo tax

1040 prepared using w2 based salary is useless without the w2 for i864 purposes.

So what about my other  prove for my daughter crba  like provide my social security report showing my wage and letter from my employer and my passport stamp ? Do u think its enough?

Is this for a CRBA application? If so i864 comment is not relevant (and mods need to move this thread to citizenship section)

 

are you trying to prove the 5 years residence evidence to show your daughter qualified for CRBA?

Yes its crba and trying to prove residence in usa but i dont have my w2

Why are you fixated on W2? There are a host of things you can use to prove residence. from the official form:
 

Examples of documents that can help demonstrate residence include, but are not limited to: property rental leases and payment receipts; deeds; utility bills; property tax records; automobile registrations; professional licenses; employment records or information; income tax records; stamped school transcripts; military records; income records, including W-2 salary forms; vaccination and medical records.
