My package was delivered to Carol Stream, IL (USCIS PO Box) by USPS on Monday (6am)/ August 8th, and I still did not get a text or email :( Am I allowed to start to freak out?

 Bruce Willis Yes GIF

I feel like we all start to freak out as soon as our renewal window approaches lol

But I would not freak out just yet! Give it a couple of weeks. You’ll have an update to share soon! 🙏🏾

Looks like it doesn't matter if you select the wrong credit card type on the Credit Card Authorization form. I just got the notification that my payment has gone through! I haven't received the text message notification yet but I assume that will come soon. I'm surprised it happened before the weekend because they only received it 2 days ago. So happy our request is now in the system!

Been following the thread closely! Our window opens on Aug 21st and will be mailing our packet on Aug 22, just to be on that safe side LOL. So far I have the following:

1. G-1450

2. G-1145

3. Form I-751

4. Copy of my Permanent Resident card, front and back

5. Evidence of Bonafide relationship:

  *** Joint tax return, 2020

*** 2 years worth of bank statement, joint bank account ( I did monthly )

*** joint lease agreement, former address

*** letter of explanation pertaining to ownership of our house, current address

*** copy of health and dental insurance cards from my company, both names

*** copy of confirmation statement, 2022 Full Benefits election from my company showing my husband as my dependent

*** copy of my 401K plan showing my husband as sole beneficiary

*** copy of change of my husband’s beneficiary designation, life insurance ( adding me as beneficiary)

*** utility bills, previous and current address with our names on them ( I am sending originals since they are easy to come by lol 😂)

*** copy of certificate of title, motorcycle under both our names

*** photographs of me and my husband with his family

*** copies and letters and cards from our family and friends addressed to both of us

I welcome and appreciate any tips, comments and suggestions to better our chances.. thank you in advance!

Best of luck to us all !!!

Your packet sounds very similar to what we sent. The only difference is I would make sure you're sending tax transcripts instead of the full return (USCIS prefers this format as they are much less paper) and I would send the transcript for every year you've been married.

We got assigned to National Benefits Center (MSC) too! Do you know if there's a difference in processing time between the two National Benefits Center codes? I was looking in the processing times and it seems like at least some of the latest approvals for NBC took a year or less. 🤞 Also, I've only been following the I-751 threads since July -- is there a reason there's a higher possibility of interview?

Ciao, I’m not sure what is difference between a case originally assigned to MSC and a case transferred to NBC. But visa journey told me the latest approval estimate for my case is April 2, 2024😳 I have no idea what this estimate is based on because USCIS doesn’t show the processing time when it comes to MSC case…

Regarding the interview, I found this article issued by DHS, which says cases with MSC will have a interview.
https://www.dhs.gov/publication/uscis-processing-concurrently-pending-forms-n-400-and-forms-i-751

But, I also read this article too. This says a conditioned green card processed through a consular might be also interview waiver.
https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/news-releases/uscis-implements-risk-based-approach-for-conditional-permanent-resident-interviews

This article is just April 2020, and I really hope this applies to me as well🤞🤞🤞

Oh interesting thanks for sharing! That first article definitely makes it sound like all MSC case numbers get interviews but that second article is more recent and is about the changes to their process. Hopefully that supercedes the earlier practice and we can avoid interviews if they feel we provided adequate evidence! 🤞🏻

I just received my extension letter in the mail yesterday, 08/15/2022. I mailed my package on 08/06, it got delivered on 08/08, the text that the case was created was on 08/11/2022. So it took less than 2 weeks from the day I mailed my package to my extension letter. Super happy with USCIS, they really moved fast.
