Based on the USCIS website https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Potomac Service Center has an estimated processing time of 23.5 months ( followed by Nebraska at 17 months, Vermont at 15 months, etc).. however, these are just estimates.

Is there a way we can access e-copy of the notifications. I am looking at my uscis online account and do not see any e-copy for NOA or Biometrics notice?

The actual letters/notices are not available in the USCIS account.

I have had many things show up as "arriving today" in informed delivery that have shown up a day or two later, so I would give it at least 2 days before worrying about it being missing.

@beloved_dingo @sarge @JenIEit is actually my 3rd day today since I got informed mail notification. I have not checked my mail box today. However, I am planning on sending an inquiry today if I do not get the mail by EOD today from USCIS.

Is there anything else I can do immediately to get the information about the mail today apart from sending a inquiry? (This is what I am planning to do if I do not get the mail by EOD today)

I do not want to miss this biometrics appointment date and time. How long after they send the mail for biometrics, do you actually have the appointment for biometrics?

Thank you!

I believe you can also call USCIS but you need to get to a tier 2 officer. They should at least be able to tell you what kind of notice it is (whether it's an actually appointment for biometrics, biometrics are waived, etc.). Say "infopass" to get to tier 2.

Did you previously do biometrics, like for adjustment of status?

@I-751Dallas do I understand correctly your letter was promised to be delivered on Monday? It's perfectly normal for it to arrive Thursday or Friday due to delays. USPS are unlikely to do anything proactive if you haven't received mail for a few days, unless it's been 5-7 days already.

@OldUser I have been using informed mail for 6 years now. Usually my mail shows up same day if not next day. My informed mail has never taken 5-7 days to show up in this 6 years. However, I am waiting extra days out hoping it would show up. I am pretty sure the mail has been lost or was delivered in different mail box. As this has happened to me before. My mail was delivered to different mail box and the guy showed up in my place with my mail. Therefore, this is my 3rd day and I need to think what to do from here.

Do you have neighbors? Did you ask them whether they accidentally received your letter?

Do you have a number that I should call?

thank you!

I believe the number is 1-800-375-5283. You might want to check the USCIS website to confirm.

I've personally never had it take more than 2 additional days either, from when something showed on Informed Delivery (and this has happened maybe 4 times total in 5+ years). I've also had 2 occasions where mail shown never showed up, so certainly understand your concern now that it has been 3 days.
