48-months extension letter recived yesterday as well.

however, on a verge of irritation at this point, feels like either the file is lost or they just want to force me into June naturalization filing. I just wanted GC and have this limbo finished. (sorry for the vent).

Just received my 48 months extension today too..  sigh.. 230 days since case was received. Oh well, I guess it is what it is.

Over 350 days since last update on my case, which was biometric reuse. Case is pending for around 500 days. It's a long journey. Good luck!

My erequest was replied to in ten days.

I guess we are not the only ones who got the letter. Was hopeful it was something like good news. Oh well. We are still going to do citizenship later this year hopefully it kicks the can.

APPROVED!!! I just got the letter in the mail today that my application to remove conditions was approved. I expected to have an interview, but it was waived. They apparently approved it back on  May 2nd, but I didn’t know. They emailed my card on may 5th, so hopefully it arrives soon. I am over the moon and just so grateful that my application moved so fast.

Congratulations! As an FYI the case update should include a tracking number (they usually update the site to say it will be mailed and then update the status again with the tracking number) so you can know exactly when you expect it to be delivered.

Oh, thanks for the info, I had no idea. For right now the last update says “

May 5, 2023 Card Was Mailed To Me“. i will keep checking to see if a tracking number appears.

I just looked up my old statuses and it went from

Jan 21 - We mailed your new card

Jan 23 - The Post Office picked up the card (with tracking number)

Jan 25 - Card was delivered by the post office (also contained reference to tracking number)

Hopefully you will see an update any day now!

My case number started with MSC, so whatever that is. I couldn’t find what specific location it is on the USCIS website. I thought all MSC numbers will get an interview because they’re getting sent to field offices, but I got so lucky to have my interview waived.

MSC is National Benefits Center and getting sent to MSC these days doesn't mean you will for sure have an interview. I was also MSC and filed in August and got approved in January without an interview and there were a couple other people around that time as well. It seems like at least MSC might be using a risk-based approach.
