Traveling with a pending green card application

Hello,

 

I am in a process of sponsoring my parents. Their green card paperwork is filed. But they have an active and valid visitor visa prior to me filing the paperwork. Can they still use it to travel here and return to home country?

They can try.  They should be prepared to be denied entry.

Yes they can visit, but they need to be prepared to show their ties to their current home country when they meet the CBP officer.  It is also advised to keep visits relatively short, and not show up at the border with a huge amount of personal possessions.

Yes they can visit, but must show ties to their home country if asked so they can demonstrate that they will go home and have their Immigrant Visa interview at a Consulate abroad.
