All documents have been accepted at NVC by 2020 (age 20yrs) but they have not updated status documentarily qualified to push for consular interview .

May come in for Masters or job and apply for change to Adjustment of Status.

What to do to change to AOS

I am 22 now but was approved I130 at 19 years and all documents accepted at NVC at 2020 (20 yrs)

It’s illegal to come to the US on a non-immigrant visa with intent to adjust status.

It would help if you stated what this process is. Spousal? Parent petitioner you? …? And which country this is.

This is immigration fraud.  Don't do it.

Hello, thanks for your response. I am under  F2A and was only wondering if I should move to AOS if my circumstances change. I have already applied to do a Masters program and I am waiting for admission regardless. I am just wondering if I should let it stay at the Consular services or apply to Change to AOS if accepted or if I get a job. I am at that stage in my life.

I am happy to leave it as it is. I am a Canadian and has recently graduated. I am applying to jobs in Canada and the US and have also applied to Masters here in Canada as well as the US. I have no intention of migrating illegally as there is no need to do that. My parents are in the US and my Visa is current.

I will rephrase my questions...

1)If I get a job or accepted for a Masters in the US, is it better to leave my application at the Consulate or should I change to AOS if I am working in the US or studying? If that becomes the case, what is the process?

2) At NVC all my documents have been accepted but no letter stating DQ. My brother has DQ. Is there something else I should do? My parent has already written to them that I am 22 now. It is taking a long time to get a reply.

I don't have any intention of migrating illegally and that's is why I came here to ask.

Please be kind in your answer as I am just seeking clarity. Thanks in advance

It doesn't matter how your circumstances change while you are outside the US.  Pre-planning to travel to the US on tourist status with intent to adjust status is fraud.

Is this considered preplanning? Asking for what to do if my situation changes? So at this point, would it be best to leave my application at the consular in Canada and come back and complete it when called for interview if I'm already studying or working in the US?

Yes it is.

I think it would be best for you to first secure a student or work visa before you worry about this.
