My mom had her interview July 12, 2022. No questions were asked but they found my birth certificate hard to read. They asked for my birth certificate from our Local Civil Registry, in the city where I was born. So we got everything and mailed back to them together with my mom’s passport via LBC. Now, I am just waiting. I checked status in CEAC , it just says ready. At the same time worried of the medical that will be expiring Aug 22. Hoping to here from them soon. Anyone here who has the similar experience?

Don't stress too much, they will do everything they can to get her out before the medical expires. Just make sure that if they call (which they did after they received my wife's 221g info) that if asked when she plans to travel, say as soon as possible before the medical expires.

Also you can't go by CEAC site, it will change whenever someone looks the case and may not reflect what is actually happening.

Hi everyone!

My mom was interviewed last July 12, 2022. We prepared all the documents the best we could and uploaded in CEAC. There was no questions asked but they found my birth certificate blurred and hardly readable. The officer asked my mom to get birth certificate from the Local Civil Registry where I was born,  then will have to send via LBC together with her passport. We gave them what they need, now, we are just waiting. Hoping and praying to here from them very soon. I am wondering whether she still has to go for interview or just wait until the visa will be issued. Is there anyone who has the similar experience like this?

Thank you.
