Hi all - I received my 221G refusal after my interview at the Montreal Consulate (07/06/2022) - long story short, my case was transferred to Hong Kong from Montreal but it seems my original HK police report was only sent to the consulate in Hong Kong. I need to contact the HK Police for a new report, but their website says they send it directly to the embassy and require a letter with the postal address.

"A PHOTOCOPY of a request letter from the relevant Consulate / Immigration Authority / Government Authority, which contains the applicant’s name and clearly indicates that the production of the Certificate is required.
There should also be a POSTAL ADDRESS of the relevant Consulate / Immigration Authority / Government Authority since the application result will be directly sent to them by registered mail."

More information here: https://www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/11_useful_info/cert_no_crime_overseas.html

The 221G does not have the postal address listed on it. Does anyone have any experience here? Thanks!
