There was no HIPAA violation and the rape was reported within the timeframe set down by the state. I hope the doctor sues the Indiana AG for defamation and wins. He completely and utterly slandered her, attacking her character without being certain that the very serious allegations he was making were true.

There was no HIPAA violation and the rape was reported within the timeframe set down by the state. I hope the doctor sues the Indiana AG for defamation and wins. He completely and utterly slandered her, attacking her character without being certain that the very serious allegations he was making were true.

It is questionable if it was reported according to the law.  This Dr. is definitely an abortion activist, and seems to have a history of fighting the reporting rules.  It is not exactly clear when the abortion occurred, and when the report was made, so an investigation is warranted.

 

I also hear that an abortion was the only option here, not sure that was definitely the case, but whatever, personally I am for unlimited abortions, but I also agree with letting our representatives make the call, and not those in DC that don’t represent anyone except their donors.

You aren't sure that a ten year old being raped and requiring an abortion is the only option? The alternative being that the raped child is forced to give birth with the potential danger to her life?
