I had requested for our case to be sent to the Naples US Embassy and that's where we will do the remainder of this K-1 visa process. Does anybody know how to change the location from Poland to Italy? Do I even need to do this for an K-1 Interview in Italy? The Us Embassy in Italy said they would provide the appointment date and that the medical exam is one day before. This entire immigration process is completely broken and needs to be fixed. Appreciate help from anyone out there that may know the answers. Thank you so much... ScreenShot.thumb.jpg.9718dce085d34bfb71ffb5acf3ba7ae0.jpg

if the intending immigrant has permanent residency in It Italy,  contact the Italian embassy and ask them to request the case from Poland

Include the case # , both your names and both DOB's in your correspondence to US embassy in Italy

Where is you case at currently? If it's still at NVC, ask NVC for the change of consulate. If it's at consulate in Poland, email the consulate in Italy so they request your case from Poland. You can email the consulate in Poland as a courtesy but they won't send it until they get the request from the consulate in Italy.

Nothing to do with the screenshot that you posted.

How did your case get to Poland? Default for Ukraine is now Frankfurt. Separately, are you sure your case actually *is* in Poland, or did you just set up a Poland TravelDocs account?

The process to change locations isn’t simple, if your petition is already overseas you need to call Warsaw and inquire about the change process. We’ve had others here send an email and they’ve changed their TravelDocs location, but *not* interview place. You have to be very clear to them over the phone.

If your case is still at NVC, you need to call them.

Thank you for your response. So, these are the details of exactly what happened. Once the case was approved by the NVC they did in fact send it to Frankfurt. When we received the email saying that Frankfurt received the case we were notified that we had to set up an interview time pay the fees and do some other forms online. I was having such a hard time finding a doctors appointment for the medical exam. At the same time I started to do the paperwork online and I noticed that when I logged in to try to create the appointment time there was already an Poland TravelDocs account made from the past when my fiancé tried to get a visitor visa. Then since we were in Italy I reached out to the Italian Embassy and ask them if they can do the medical examination. The Italian embassy responded and asked me if I wanted to have the case transferred from Frankfurt to the US Embassy in Naples. We said yes and they initiated the transfer approximately four weeks ago. So, our case will be heading to the Naples US Embassy. We were told when the US Naples Embassy get our case we will get notified. So, I was trying to think ahead on what to do about the Poland travel docs account. I'm not even sure that I need the Poland travel docs account because apparently in the US Naples Embassy they will give us the interview date and the medical examination is automatically scheduled the day prior. If anyone has any information I can help with this issue that would be great. The fiancé visa approval from the NVC expires September 1, 2022. So, I am wondering will everything be done before Sep 1st? Thank you all so much

Thank you for the clarification; this is a very easy process then, sorry for sounding the alarms before. Seems like you successfully managed the hard part yourself.

As your fiancee already had an account in Poland for the B2, you won't be able to change it yourself and will need to contact Warsaw. They have an email, but they're absolutely flooded with requests right now. Give their number a call first thing in the morning (or very late at night) - they operate on Polish time, unfortunately, so the hours are quite rough when in the US. You should get through to someone fairly quickly, tell them Italy agreed to take your case and you need your TravelDocs updated to the Italy. They should do it over the phone and it'll be ready immediately.

And yes - you can do this even before your packet gets to Italy, anyone can request a TravelDocs transfer, but the key to remember is that this doesn't mean your case will actually go there. For you, though, you're all set as you took care of that ahead of time. Good luck!

So this is what I got back.. "We would like to inform you that Italy is not included in the list of countries in our CGI system. You should contact the Italy Embassy yourself for further instructions." I guess Italy has its own system.

My fiancé just had his interview at Naples. Yes once you schedule your interview date your medical is scheduled automatically by the embassy for the day before. We didn’t use TravelDocs, made me panic for a moment thinking we missed something 😂
