I'm a little mixed up here. So my mom is diabetic and bedridden and will need to undergo amputation. This is very concerning, guys. Anyways, if I want to expedite my application that's been sitting and collecting dust for over a year would I have to pay $2,500? Is "Expedite" and "Premium Processing the same? Where do I start?

Thanks so much for your help

Would love to have a small whatsapp group, if anyone is interested. My email is(removed)

Where's your mom? US or Italy?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

So you want to expedite your mom's petition to come to US for treatment? Or who's petition are you trying to expedite?

Umm not at all. I want my fiancé to be here with me in case anything happens to my mom.

You can try expedite, but I don't see it being granted.

If you have relatives and siblings, embassy might say they're better situated to be there to help than your fiance.

Expedite is free.

Your expedite for that reason won't be approved. Your fiancé and your mom are technically not related at this point and your fiance could literally leave you the next day after you make her stay home to take care of your mother. Thinking from the person's mind processing the expedite.

Hahaha hilarious 😂 Anyways, no one has even given me the resources to actually file for an expedite, just opinions 😂😂😂 Well I appreciate your response nonetheless. Really tickled me.

Wishing you a great day😊

What resources? You just call them up where is your case is currently at to request it.

If you are still hunting to come up with the reasons nobody can tell.

Mar 21, 2022  You can generally request expedited processing by calling the USCIS Contact Center at 800-375-5283 (TTY 800-767-1833) or by asking Emma

being he is a fiancee USCIS may consider him more burden for u as he can not work and you need to marry within 90 days and pay his AOS fees

if you were married,  he could work and really help u in this situation

so very sorry for you and mother and this ordeal u go thru

Well no worries. Life goes on. We should be approved very soon and then after that things will go much faster. My boyfriend/fiancé is such a huge support to me and I long for him to be here. It would be an absolute blessing, especially while going through these difficult times. This, although being a very difficult and long process, has only strengthened our love and connection. I have never in my life experienced this kind of love. Anyways, I know there are many here who understand where I am coming from so with all that being said... I'll just continue to wait, it's worth it!

Thanks everyone🙏🏿❤️

we all know where you are coming from

we all are or have gone thru the process

and there is no harm in trying for the expedite /we have seen some given that we wouldn't expect

so,  trying can't hurt

That would be nearly everyone here.  We have all had to wait our turns, or are still waiting.  Comes with the territory when we choose relationships with people in other countries.
