Medical and Flu vaccine

Hi! Has anyone been refused a visa based on the medical due to no availability of the flu vaccines? I’ve never received one, as I haven’t ever been in the risk group or reached the criteria for one with my GP. I visited my GP office today and they say the panel

physician is asking the impossible as there are no flu vaccines in the Netherlands yet, since we are out of season right now.

 

I have an appointment with the travel doc (GGD) next week and expect the same answer from them.

 

Insights/experience would be appreciated!

The panel physician will mark for waiver since it’s not available , unless of course he has a stash , so no reason to worry at all…

Not the season for flu shots. They won't even comment on it. I think the season starts in October and as long as you're done with medical before then you're good to go.

Thank you. It was listed on the info I received from the Amsterdam panel physician as: flu shots all seasons.  Hopefully this is just an oversight.

Normally flu shot only require during flu season ( fall / winter ) . Flu shot almost never available out of season

Thank you to everyone who helped me!  The panel physician’s office in Amsterdam have been incredibly helpful in determining which vaccines I still need, as have the GGD vaccine centre in my local area. My missing vaccines (chicken pox for instance!) have been ordered. Very pleased for a smooth process after so many months of NVC stress 😄
