I understand that now that I'm a US citizen, I'm able to sponsor an unmarried sibling from Canada.  I also understand that there are annual per country quotas for sibling visas, and that sibling wait times for many countries run 12 - 14 years or so.  I wondered if anyone would be able to point me to a source which provides current wait times by country?

Similarly, is there a source which provides current wait times to sponsor parents from Canada?

Also, is my understanding correct in that I can sponsor more than one sibling simultaneously and will have to meet income requirements at the time of visa issuance or slightly before, but not necessarily right now?

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

Siblings can be sponsored if they are married or not, for Canada nearer 20 years.

Parents are immediate relatives so no wait, say 18 months to 2 years to get their visa's.

Largest number of siblings I have seen sponsored is 21.

You calculate the wait time by looking at the visa bulletin, and seeing what the current priority dates are in table A - these are the filing dates for which visas are now available. So for sibling visas, F4, visas are available to those who filed before 1 March 2007, implying a few months over 15 years wait time. (“All areas except” is for all except those named in the columns after it, so includes Canada.) These wait times change over time (generally increase ) so it may be longer from filing now. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2021/visa-bulletin-for-august-2021.html

The categories in the above mentioned table have listed wait times because those visas have annual quota limits and the queue is much longer than the annual quota. A parent visa, on the other hand, does not have a quota. The wait time for that will thus only depend on (1) processing time for the petition at uscis /NVC and (2) the wait for an interview at the embassy your parents will be interviewing at, once the processing is complete.
