Best of luck, everyone! It’s our 2nd wedding anniversary today, but we are apart this time 💔 all because we thought we were so close to the interview date.

Happy Anniversary to you guys, and this is the last one apart from each other! Only a matter of a few weeks now!!! Onward & upward! 💪

Just saw a post on FB of a Chilean person that just got their IL. Their DQ date was June 15th. Maybe it's starting back up? Fingers crossed.

Btw: the time between NVC left and consulate received is about a week according to VJ timelines. So, I'm pretty sure this person was in the same boat as us.

Good spot. Let's hope so!

There are a lot of cases on VJ of people getting IL during this hiatus. So it's hard to tell if this is just another one of those, or if it's indicative of broader movement at NVC. The DQ date in June looks promising but the scarcity of Chilean timelines makes it hard to know what's normal.

Fingers crossed!

Hope this is true!

I did some research, the most recent person I have seen so far getting an interview letter (in London) was someone who was DQ June 17th, which is a Friday I might add too, so maybe that was the last week they were issuing interview letters.

So from your post they maybe have restarted the DQ’s from that time! Fingers crossed! (My DQ June 27.

I just saw a K1 visa timeline from Netherlands.
They had their case transferred to the consulate on 19th but could see the available interview days only today.

They booked for September 6th.

Hopefully some movement happens to CR1/IR1 cases this week.

Hi Everyone,

When I logged into my cgi page ( Which we use to register our passport delivery preference) today I found a new section saying First available appointment date.

Website: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome

I have been logging into this site everyday and only today I found this section. I believe we should get something ASAP.

I am sorry for spamming, I am just restless.

hi Thanks for sending this information! But regarding CR1, I thought the embass/NVC schedules the appointment, not the other way around?

Yes I can't select the date and only NVC can schedule the appointment but I could see the "First Available Appointment" only today.

It might mean that the consulate has opened the available dates for scheduling?

thanks for the info! I had no idea this website existed, so thanks for that! Just created a profile with passport delivery preference! I don't see what you see for Switzerland. But that said, we all should be hearing something this week, last week of the month, it has to happen :)

Be aware that website appears to be for non-immigrant visas! Might be smart to read it carefully before claiming to have an I-160

Actually you can select your category in the drop down menu, and you can pick CR1, its only to add the address for passport delivery after interview, or choosing the pick up option!

Ah okay, just be wary of anything regarding scheduling your own interview unless instructed by NVC!
