Guys when you say NOA #2 notice is it the notice date? Which is September 2/2022or approval notice which is valid from 08/08-01/08/2023 ?

And when should I expect for NVC to send me something? Still new a little confused

I would say NVC takes 55-70 days after USCIS approval. They will send you an email.

NOA2 date refers to when your case was approved and sent to NVC.

Where do you guys look for status ?

There are many ways. Official way is go to this site :

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

Other than this, there are two Apps, CASE TRACKER and LAWFULLY.   download these or one of these on your iphone, fill up your  case number,  they'll notify you immediately as soon as your status changes. This is much more convenient and practical way to know your status.

We received the Packet 3 today and immediately scheduled the visa interview. Unfortunately the earliest date was 24 January 2023.

But we will be on the lookout for earlier dates to reschedule.

😨 Wow!  Is the earliest interview date in Ankara really in January?!?  My case is barely getting shipped out of the NVC, but we were hoping to have the interview in December 😭.  I didn't realize that Ankara had backlog.  Congrats on scheduling the date.

Yeah… We were hoping the same, November-December.

To be more specific, they only had 3 dates available in the entire calendar; 24, 26 and 31st of January. They should make more dates available soon.

This link you provided is asking visa case number which my NOA letter didn’t have. My guess it’s a number NVC will provide?

Hey there so yesterday, Saturday, October 22, 2022, I received this email. I find it interesting to start off by writing "the correct case number is... "

Besides that, I don't have an invoice ID, I guess it comes separately!?

I'm really getting excited 😁 20221022_155224.thumb.jpg.f773f25225c5f5262627558f62e46673.jpg

Yes it will be given by NVC.

Since you are also going through the Ankara embassy, did they email or mail Packet 3 to you?  I'm the Petitioner, and I know they will send packet 3 to my fiance, but his email address wasn't included in the I-129F.

They will send an email to your fiance.

What you need to do is when your case is in “In Transit” status you should send an email to ankaraiv@state.gov including the NVC case number in the subject line, and provide the email addresses for both of you in the message.

They sent an email to my fiance 6 days after the case was in “Ready” status (received by the embassy).
