OP

how would u know if she contacted anyone to cancel the petition?

if embassy calls you or sends  u an email to return to embassy with passport,  then she has probably done it and the embassy will stamp the visa as revoked

i am so sorry this is happening to u

So essentially the only real issue would be if the wife (if she chose to be that vindictive) told the authorities the marriage was a sham from the beginning and that she and the OP were committing immigration fraud from the beginning. Outside of that the OP is good to go?

(i) Revocation of visas or documents

After the issuance of a visa or other documentation to any alien, the consular officer or the Secretary of State may at any time, in his discretion, revoke such visa or other documentation. Notice of such revocation shall be communicated to the Attorney General, and such revocation shall invalidate the visa or other documentation from the date of issuance

Remember if USC says its a sham,  she is party to that sham and is liable for fines and prison time

What is a sham marriage and is it considered a criminal offense?

Federal law provides that marriages entered into for the purpose of evading immigration laws are considered “sham marriages” and may result in the denial of an immigrant visa for the foreign spouse, their removal from the United States, and possibly criminal penalties for the U.S. citizen.Feb 6, 2020

Assume it is instantaneous

You are spending way to much time admiring this problem and not enough time packing your bags and heading to the airport.  Tick tock, tick tock …

Come home to America. Try to save your marriage. Make a life here.

This. Unless you have no desire to move to the US, you would want your next post/comment from the gate while waiting for the boarding.

I guess questions are"

1.  Can u afford to buy the plane ticket?

2.  does she even talk to u now or has blocked u?

3.  do u have a place to go if she doesn't allow u to stay with her?

4.  can u change the address for delivery of green card at POE so u get the card as otherwise green card will go to her address?

Fly asap and activate your green card. Wait for 5 years and apply for citizenship. Problem solved
