Not really sure how it would be a world of hurt for the OP to come to the US with a valid visa.  No one here knows the entire story, or if the marriage is repairable, so it makes sense to tell a person with a valid spousal visa that appears to be having trouble with the relationship to come here as soon as possible to try and work things out with their spouse they have not seen in person for two plus years.  We all know the toll immigration processes take on relationships, so what is wrong with advising the OP to come here to work on it?

There’s nothing you should be confused about. Aside from the possibility that the marriage could be rejuvenated by her seeing him, legal immigration to America is also part of the package. I’m not going to resign my job etc in preparation to move to be with you and you pull the rug from under my feet and I should just stay put.
 

Remember this process takes time and during that time I’ve fallen in love (from afar) with the land flowing with milk 🥛 and honey 🍯, I am still coming whether you like it or not after such massive emotional and financial investment. Here I come America 🇺🇸! 😁😁😁

Although long term that would be cheaper and skip some steps in the stressful immigration journey, in this case I don’t support waiting one second more than necessary. I’d advise them to be on the next available flight to America even if it means borrowing airfare from a loan shark.

how would u know if she contacted anyone to cancel the petition?

if embassy calls you or sends  u an email to return to embassy with passport,  then she has probably done it and the embassy will stamp the visa as revoked

So essentially the only real issue would be if the wife (if she chose to be that vindictive) told the authorities the marriage was a sham from the beginning and that she and the OP were committing immigration fraud from the beginning. Outside of that the OP is good to go?

(i) Revocation of visas or documents

After the issuance of a visa or other documentation to any alien, the consular officer or the Secretary of State may at any time, in his discretion, revoke such visa or other documentation. Notice of such revocation shall be communicated to the Attorney General, and such revocation shall invalidate the visa or other documentation from the date of issuance

 

 

Remember if USC says its a sham,  she is party to that sham and is liable for fines and prison time

1.  Can u afford to buy the plane ticket?

2.  does she even talk to u now or has blocked u?

3.  do u have a place to go if she doesn't allow u to stay with her?

4.  can u change the address for delivery of green card at POE so u get the card as otherwise green card will go to her address?

That observation seems to be employing a stereotype.  
 

Lawfully moving  to the most  advanced country in the planet is the opposite of a world of hurt.  

I’ve been detained several times by CBP, INS, UK border force, Australian border force.  If one cannot cope with that possibility, one should not travel internationally. 
 

Based on the post, OP has done nothing wrong and will not be doing anything wrong by coming to America. 
 

1. Get a job 

 

2. find a place to live. 
 

3. remind her that she has to provide financial support when his income falls below $1400 a month 

 

4. Find a lawyer skilled in the art of enforcing number 3

 

OP’s wife had a choice. And still has choices. OP is supposed to wait in limbo until it is “convenient”? Is OP an object or thing?

 

 

 

Sadly once you leave America and travel more, this statement loses its foundation. 

 

But I agree with everything else, the petitioner is in the wrong here.
