Organizing AOS packet

Filing for AOS and EAD....does the check for EAD go on top of the entire package with the check for AOS? Or should I separate the two packages?

Attach the checks to the relevant form with a paper clip (so check for EAD should be clipped to the I-765). All forms must go in the same package, do not send separately.

Separate the two in the sense that you bind up the AOS one together with its supporting documents and the EAD one with its own supporting documents, each with their own checks, but like Dr_LHA said, put them both in the same package to be mailed off.
