We are discussing in our WhatsApp group of Russian spouses about why the I-129F cannot be submitted electronically, but many other applications can be.

does anybody know exactly why electronic submission of the I-129F for K visas is not allowed? I’ve looked all over for this answer and I cannot find the reason as to why! Thanks.

The benefit : cost ratio for I-129F isn’t high enough.

About 13-ish forms out of 100ish forms can be filed online. USCIS march to convert applications to online has been a methodically slow process. It took a while for even form I-130 to be added (I believe this was in 2019 or 2020).

Privacy vs Efficiency.

What personal data are you or everyone else willing to give up for a faster process?

I do see the day that all the information are integrated like IRS, Homeland Security, USCIS, CBP, Dept of State, etc. And an AI system decides your approval or not, or other government process? And not having a human voice to appeal to?

Alter the URL to a different year.  As I did in the other thread you posted in
