HI. I am planning to petition my 65 year old mother in the Philippines. I am USC. How long before it gets approve? Do I need to be present in the immigration in the Philippines once they set up an interview for my mother?

How about for tourist visa? Wondering which one is more easier and faster. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

That is immigration fraud.

File a I-130 for your mother to receive an IR5 visa. Should take around 2 years. No, you don’t need to be present for her interview.  There is no “fast and easy” in US immigration.

I hope you are aware that she doesn’t qualify for Medicare and thus most likely the health insurance premium payment will be very high.
