Please share flight experience for people who came here under U4U. What country did they fly from and to where in US? Was it a direct flight or with stops?

Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the ones I have seen have been from Poland direct

Our beneficiaries will be flying from Krakow via Frankfurt to Boston next week, Lufthansa. Our friends beneficiaries will be flying from Warsaw direct to Chicago about a week later.

Ukrainians with a Biometric Passport do not need a transit visa in any Schengen country. Other countries, like UK, you may need one. So check.

New information received from USCIS today extending the 14 day period to attest once the beneficiaries arrive to 90 days.

Greetings, This message provides updates for beneficiaries of Uniting for Ukraine. Medical Screening and Attestation Update: The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended the time beneficiaries paroled into the United States under Uniting for Ukraine have to attest to their compliance with the medical screening for tuberculosis and additional vaccinations, if required. Effective immediately, beneficiaries paroled into the United States under Uniting for Ukraine must complete their medical attestation within 90 days of arrival in the United States. Previously, beneficiaries paroled into the United States under Uniting for Ukraine were required to complete the medical screening and attestation within 14 days of arrival to the United States. The attestation is a condition of parole and must be completed in the beneficiary’s USCIS online account. Beneficiaries are responsible for arranging the vaccinations and medical screening for tuberculosis, including an Interferon-Gamma Release Assays (IGRA) blood test, on their own. Beneficiaries must also complete the tuberculosis screening attestation for their minor children within 90 days of arrival to the United States, even if the child is under the age of two years old and qualifies for an exception to the tuberculosis test screening. Employment Authorization: After being paroled into the United States, beneficiaries may apply for discretionary employment authorization from USCIS by filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, with the required fee or apply for a fee waiver. Beneficiaries can indicate on Form I-765 whether they would like to apply for a Social Security number (SSN). If the beneficiary would like to apply for a SSN, USCIS will transmit data from the Form I-765 to the Social Security Administration (SSA), which will then assign the beneficiary an SSN. If USCIS approves the Form I-765, we will mail the beneficiary an Employment Authorization Document (work permit) to the address on file with USCIS. SSA will also mail a Social Security card to the address listed on the beneficiary’s Form I-765. Beneficiaries who move must notify USCIS of their new address within 10 days of moving by submitting a change of address online using the USCIS Change of Address system to avoid any delays with receiving their documents. Federal Benefits: Beneficiaries paroled into the United States through Uniting for Ukraine may be eligible for certain federal benefits such as cash assistance through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or Supplemental Security Income, health insurance through Medicaid, and food assistance through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Beneficiaries may also be eligible for cash assistance, medical assistance, employment preparation, job placement, English language classes, and other services offered through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Our beneficiaries arrived in Boston yesterday from Warsaw via Munich and Frankfurt. Process was very smooth and efficient for all of them. The total time from from deplane to terminal exit was less than 90 minutes.
