Brief Questions

Hey! I just have some random, but quick questions.

1. In the i-129f form in proof of relationship or meeting, should I include my proof physically or should I just include the photo copies of them (ex. ticket stubs).

2. And when I include the photos of proof should I caption them, or is it self-explanatory? I have seen people caption with sticky notes, is that acceptable? Or should I just have a typed out caption to the side of the photo copy

3. I see that people include their fiance's copy of passport, is that a photo copy?

4. Should I be worried that I don't make enough money yearly? What is the minimum for application of the K-1 visa? Can I have a second person (ex. my parents?) be on the addendum too? I know that the green card had a poverty minimum, but what about the K-1 visa?

5. Is there any random advice that you would give to someone about to send in their i-129f application?

Do not send original documents.

1. Photocopies only. Do not send anything original. I scanned boarding passes and all other evidence and organized them on a word doc.

2. I feel like sticky tabs can be easily lost and probably could be thrown away when USCIS pulls everything apart to scan all you send in. FYI USCIS throws away everything like folders, paper clips, etc. I recommend organizing everything on a word document and including a brief caption next to items

3. Photocopies only always unless explicitly asked for an original. Beneficiary’s passport photocopy is included only if it’s part of the 2 year meeting requirement

4. You still have time to search for a better paying job. I-134 affidavit of support is needed for the beneficiary to bring to the interview, not when filing I-129f

5. read form filing tips and instructions on USCIS. It has useful tips like don't use a stapler, but use paper clips instead etc -> https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/form-filing-tips
