I've been reading everything I can about what to do, hoping for any help and advice.

Back in March submitted the i130 online for my wife and step daughter, then we came to the states with them on B2 visas so my parents could meet our son who was born last year while the borders were closed.

My son and I are both US citizens, my wife and daughter are Vietnamese.

2 weeks ago I was offered a job here, with a large increase in pay compared to my current one, the original plan was to move here in a year or 2 when the green cards are approved. My goal is of course to keep my family together.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to keep my wife and daughter here while waiting for the green cards.

Forms to file:

i485 - adjustment of status - file one for each of them, $1185 each

i131 - advanced parole for travel (only really needed for my wife, but if possible for my daughter as well in case of emergencies) - free

i824 - change from consular processing - $465 - not sure if needed to file for both

i765 - Employment authorization - wife only, free

G1145 - Authorization for electronic notifications - free I think

Have I figured this out correctly? It also looks like I cannot do this online, so need to do it all by mail.

Thanks for any input!

This is not required.

Don't forget i864 and i693 for each.

File i765 for your daughter as well for free. She could use that for SSN and other ID purposes if issued before GC.

Does it matter that she's only 9 and cannot work?

It doesn't matter but having EAD is useful for SSN or other ID stuffs. Getting EAD doesn't mean one is required to work. 😁
