Afternoon everyone,

Anyone ever received this after submitting inquiry?

After careful review of your inquiry, we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the USCIS office processing your case; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to the Oakland Park Field Office. The referral ID for this inquiry is T1F1xxxxxxxxxx. The Oakland Park Field Office will contact you concerning your case once they have reviewed your inquiry.

I had interviewed back in January and the officer said everything looks good great they just need to wait for background and I should get a date for oath since then nothing.  I submitted inquiry through the tool and I got the above. I also got through to a tier 1 officer who told me nothing could be done since my they still within my priority date to even inquire.

You need to wait 120 business days, then you can raise a request

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

It’s been more than 120 days since your interview.

if you want this to happen now, file an administrative procedures act lawsuit with federal court and the judge will adjudicate your case

It has exceed 120 days, note I mentioned I interviewed  January 13th. Today is July 6th which makes roughly 174 days if my math is correct.

It is looking like that is the route I may end up,  I just wanted to see if anyone ever received such message because sounds to me the hold up is at my local office for some strange reason.

Yes others have seen the same message. I’d explain why the FBI isn’t prioritizing your background check but this is the Current Events and Hot Social Topics forum.

I said business days. According to Google, you're at 114. Yes, it's close but wait till end of next week.

174 is when you include holidays and weekends.

I once raised and got hit by "it's not 120 business days yet"

I’ve found absolutely nothing that says it is 120 business days. USCIS policy manuals, the law, and court decisions all say 120 days.

Who told you it was 120 business days?

USCIS.

I've been there before when I applied for my N400

A tier 1 officer told you?

The Director of USCIS?

Or someone in between?

And you were told in writing that the INA law that specifies 120 days means business days?

I sent a case inquiry. I don't know who responded but I was specifically told 120 business days.

I'll look into my USCIS account
