It will depend on the result of her examination.  The SLEC staff will notify her if she needs to re-schedule her interview or not.  If the staff directs her to the immunization room after her mental health evaluation, she will likely get her worksheet on the same day and will not need to re-schedule her interview.  She will be allowed to proceed with the interview as long as she gets her medical results anytime before her interview date.  Even 1 day before is ok.

It's a huge relief to know they'd tell her if she needs to reschedule. She has not been told that yet.

I've read that the only hitch would be if the mental exam doesn't convince the examiner that she's not going to harm herself again. Full disclosure, she has wrist scars but they weren't a suicide attempt, she used to cut due to extreme depression during college. Again this was seven years ago. I guess since they haven't told her to reschedule, it's a good sign that she can still pass the exam without the further, week-long testing?

SLEC will not communicate that via email or phone call.  The staff will notify her if a re-schedule is necessary only when she returns to SLEC.

Anyway, getting the vaccination worksheet is the last step of the medical.  Once she gets that, she's in the clear, ie. no need for re-schedule.

Her mental exam is at 7am, so there's a good chance she will get her vaccination done and have her packet finished in time?

After her mental health evaluation, if the SLEC staff tells her to go to the immunization room, then yes, she will finish her medical that day.  Typically, the vaccination worksheet will be released within 1 hour of getting the required shots at SLEC.  If there are pending items for her medical (say, she needs further evaluation), the staff will not tell her to proceed to immunization.

It's different now at SLEC. Upon clearance and immunization, they will send your results directly to the Embassy. Then right after the interview at the Embassy, you are instructed to return to SLEC and claim your vaccination worksheet.

She passed her exam, and after some waiting they gave her the immunizations and sent her on her way with her envelope. Thank you all so much for your help and support!

Questions about her depression, her family, how she managed to get through it. It was surprisingly fast.

Thank you! Really happy for her and you!
