Is IR5 interview transferrable to USA

Parent's IR5 interview is finally scheduled in home country. Problem is we already applied for adjustment in the US (EAD and parole at least are here, probably 1 more year for green card based on public timelines). Since IR5 visa technically means a faster green card, is it an option to request for an address change (USA address)? Or would it not be worth it and just complicate things?

Thanks!

Looks like your parents will have to go to their home country for an interview if you want them to get a visa any time soon

hopefully won’t be any complications from having filed AOS as well… you’re supposed to do one or the other, not have both running concurrently

Thanks. Their case was heavily affected by the pandemic times when everything was put on hold and lost hope that it would move any further (basically all parent visas were banned). I'll contact NVC after the holiday to inquire on how to formally withdraw. Appreciate your time and sharing your insights.
