Not a good comparison. It's like Uvalde cops telling those parents outside, "We can't just barge in the room, have you ever confronted a person with AR-15? So don't complain."

The Uvalde shooting cannot be used to analyze this Akron event.  Two COMPLETELY different types of shootings.
