My husband said they would NOT give him a copy of his medical report when he had it in Egypt for the interview.. Only his vaccines.. So doesnt this mean he needs another in order to sub mit for AOS??

and we have trying to beat the fee increase...

what if we mail everything in now.. and wait for them to request it?

Your recent medical will be a part of the USCIS permanent file... when AOS is applied for they will request the file to review and it will contain the needed medical.

YMMV

All you need is the vaccine record, the medical will already be put in your file as fwaguy said. The vaccine report is what you take to the civil surgeon to get transcribed onto an I693A, which is the only "medical" form you personally submit for AOS.

No, if you'll read the post more carefully it says that you do not need another medical, but that some civil surgeons are under the (incorrect) impression that a new medical is needed for AOS, so you will have to be firm with them should this issue arise and say that you only need the I693A vaccination supplement, not a full medical.

Also, the I864 you did for the K3 is completely separate from the AOS process so you will need to complete a new, updated I864 and include all of the relevant documentation supporting your financial status asked for on the I864.

I see now it doesn't say K3 in the quote from the guides, but I'm fairly sure it should be included and that K3's do not need a new medical just as K1's and K2's do not since you have already completed one recently.

ok.. IF he had just recently did all his shots in Egypt.. and has their paper... can the I693A just be copied from that?? I would hate to have him have him get all these shots again... Plus he did have a chest Xray taken.. so I assume that would cover the TB, right?

It seems like some different things have been going on with TB lately so I dunno, but I assume if he has a complete vaccination record that the CS will just copy from that onto the I693A.

K-3s are included in that exception.
Ks: If you were admitted to the United States as a fiance(e) (K-1), child of a fiance(e) (K-2), Spouse of a U.S. citizen (K-3), or child of K-3 (K-4), and received a medical examination prior to admission, then you do not require another medical examination as long as your application for adjustment of status (Form I-485) is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. Thought so, just thought the fact they weren't mentioned in that specific quote was what confused the OP. Should have that updated in the guides...
