I married my fiance who came to the US on K-1 visa from Ukraine. Applied for SSN after wedding and received the card with the text "Legally allowed to work with DHS Authorization" so can she work wherever she wants or have to wait for the green card process to start and get the EAD card at some point?

Allowed to work with DHS authorization means the Employment authorization document (EAD). She can legally work if she has an EAD. She has to either wait for EAD or GC, whichever comes first, to work.
