Ok, so I was doing some work outside today, didn't realize how hot it was, and I am FRIED!!! Like the color of bubblegum!

Add to that I fell in a little hole in the dirt, and my ankle looks like a bag of marshmallows....I've got shooting pains up to my knee!!! Also my arm is killing me so badly!!! I think a trip to the hospital may be in order, but i'ma wait til tomorrow  Maybe it'll all magically go away, hahahah

But it sucks and I want a cig! Tomorrow at noon is officially 6 days quit, btw.....

my day wasn't quite as exciting as yours but I'll take it

I think maybe you need to take it easy for a few days.

And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who burns in the sun!

Not as bad as yours. :o Hope you feel better tomorrow! Take some pain killers and take a cold shower to ease the burns, and then use some aloe vera lotion or something. Ice on the ankles will be a big help as well.

Aww sorry to hear of your day. I burn too if I get outside. If you have some vinegar put vingegar compresses on the burn it will ease some heat from the burn. You will not smell so good but it does work. Take some pain killers, put on ice on the ankle and keep it propped up and hope you feel better soon.

aww wow you guys are great, hahaha....I was just wanting to rant & look at all the nice replies!

I am of Italian descent & have a light olive complexion, but I dunno what the hell happened to me over in the UK....I have come back such a shade that I have never saw before...but then again, I went from south FL to England...hahahah. *Kajikit....ft laud is my old stomping ground...I lived there most of my life*

Anyways, my whole point about the UK is that before living there, I have maybe burned twice, three times tops....once in Mexico, once naked in a tanning bed with new bulbs & 45 minutes in *ouch* and once while laying out with baby oil on a reflective car shade (it was the 80s, lol).....but here I am just doing some work outside & not even thinking about it....I come back like a tomato!!!!

#######, I say!

But seriously, someone tell me something exciting that happened today :)

Wow, Lisa, glad my day was not like your's ;) Hope you are feeling better when you get up this morning and keep up with the no smoking you will really start to feel the benfit of it soon,

When I sunburned once in Spain, a local told me to put natural yoghurt on it - and it worked like a charm, nothing to lose and you will smell a bit nicer than if you use vinegar  Not that Mary's advice is not good, never seen her give bad advice yet but if you were back in the UK and put vinegar on, some smart **s would probably ask you if you wanted salt to go with the chips,if you get my drft!!!

Hope your leg is better too
