Hi guys, I'm wondering if I could get some feedback.

I arrived in San Francisco, on February 6th 2022 and got married February 20th 2022.

My adjustment of status documents were received by USCIS on April 22nd 2022. I did concurrent filing, submitting three forms: I-486 AOS, I-765 EAD and I-131 AP.
I had an RFE for my EAD and send in new docs and my receipt notice for that was May 9th, 2022.

I went for my biometrics appointment in San Jose on June 8th, 2022, on June 16th, 2022 I received my EAD in the mail - but no news on AP.

How long till I hear about my AP and AOS?
Would like to go back home and have a proper wedding party - so anxiously waiting on AP.

Thanks

8 months

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Although some posters here have said 8-15 months for the AP, if you look at recent VJ timelines, for many people it’s happening faster. Personally, I have a friend who got his EAD and AP after about 3 months (without expediting).

But also, for my husband it’s been 9 months and no sign of the AP getting approved. So it’s hard to say with any certainty. In any case, I hope you get yours soon!

Hello,

I`m in similar situation with Jan2022 filing for AOS+AP+EAD but had to move to Los Angeles, CA in June and provided AR11 at the end of May for address change update.

EAD was quick turnaround (no combo-card) and delivered by end of February, with proper updates on status (NOA, reviewing, card printing, card delivered).

AP - no status update since NOA

AOS - Biometrics done mid Feb2022, status was updated on the biometrics day into "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"

Most of VJ timelines for AP are moving forward at good pace, even quicker for some K1 (i saw multiple Feb/March 2022 AP approved): I think they are processing combocards for most of them to speed up EAD/job fulfilment. In some other cases, AOS applicants are getting AP as the interview date was scheduled and got GC approved, so they received AP by Other means.

At this point seems AOS interview and AP timeline are pretty similar, in terms of wait.

Which information/update I can ask EMMA or live agent about my case? Any valuable info to assess better next steps?

thanks
