Works the other way too, there are things I can get over the counter here that I need a prescription for in my old home country.  The price differences regardless prescription or not are ridiculous, so I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t bring necessary drugs in with them. The FDA link I posted upthread is very clear about how to do this without running into problems.
