Hello Family,

Two questions

1. Anyone with experience of going to NIW interview at consulate without job offer?

2. If you have a job offer as a College professor and starting work in September can you expedite for interview date?

Isn't the entire meaning of NIW self petition is not requiring a job offer?

If you have a job offer you can definitely as for the expedite if PD is already current and just waiting for the interview.

@arken Thanks. I was a bit worried because I read people are been refused because they don’t have a job offer.

If someone for NIW is denied, it won't be because of the lack of job offer but because the CO didn't get convinced the qualification satisfied the NIW requirements.
