Child’s IR2 interview..do they go into the consulate alone?

Hi everyone,

 

I got DQ yesterday for my IR1, and my daughters IR2 got an FE to which I uploaded the missing document immediately after. 
 

I imagine our interviews will now be on different dates :(  Is she going to have to go alone into the consulate for hers? She’s 16.

Have you notified NVC that you want them to interview together???  These are separate cases...............

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes, back when we submitted everything back in April and when we got approved for expedite back in April.

May need to call NVC to match the cases up. They should do this pretty easily so you can interview together.

but I’ll try to email nvc - since you can’t call them now. Even though the inquiry emails take 2 months to get a reply too.

They are separate cases with separate DOS case numbers.  Never assume anything with US immigration.
