Hello All,

My Fiancee and I finally got approved after 408 days(NOA1 - May 10th, 2021) and I have ran into a few questions while gather documents for the next steps:

I-134 Affidavit of Support - Part 2, Questions 16 - Benficiary's length of stay

For this question do I just provide a rough estimate for the 3 month window when my fiancée will arrive here?

Supporting Documents for I-134, Employers statement

I talked to my manager, and he referred me to HR. They then provided me a 3rd party website for retrieving this information.

Will that suffice?

I feel like the I-134 instructions specifically state that the statement must come directly from your employer on business stationery.

Conflicting Visas:

My Fiancée's sister is in the US on a J1 visa and transitioning to a student visa.

Would this have any effect on our application?

My Fiancée got worried saying she read on other forums that people were getting denied if they had siblings in the US on multiple visas.

Thank you all in advance!

Tell your fiance to stop reading other forums.  What your fiance heard is hogwash.

Thank you, I couldn't quite believe it either because it doesn't make any sense. I appreciate the reassurance!

For Part 2, Question 16, best to complete the I-134 after you know your case has been sent to the embassy/consulate since you want to send the most updated info in your I-134 to your K1 beneficiary to take to the interview. After your case is received by the embassy/consulate, you can schedule an interview, pay the MRV, complete the medical, etc. and you will have a better estimate of the "From" date. For the "To" date, select "No End Date".

Unless your 3rd party provide employment verification, you will need to specifically ask for it. Most 3rd party website is for credit check, rental background check, etc. So whether it is your HR or 3rd party site, you will still need an employment verification letter, and 3-months of payslip.

Since I-134 is used for other non immigrant visas, a lot of the questions won’t be applicable for K1s. When we completed it, we just put N/A and no questions were asked at the interview.

Thank you both!

I will wait until our case is sent to the embassy, I will be sure to put no end date as well.

I see, that's why I feel like I would need the employment verification directly from HR/my employer. But I will talk with them in more detail to see how I can retrieve this information.

I do already have my W2 and file tax return from last year, and can print out my pay stubs easily!
